“My career started as an apprentice electronics technician. My studies in electronics gave me a pathway to specialise in the field of industrial robotics. During my 10 year association with this Swiss based company I was then approached to join Australia’s largest manufacturer of supermarket equipment as Technical Services Manager. I headed up the technical services team. We provided service to all their manufacturing equipment and was largely involved in the R&D department designing, developing, and testing new products. After the 7-year employment I was then approached to be the General Manager of a new start up mesh manufacturing company. During this time, we manufactured welded mesh products and sold imported fencing products. Domestic fencing sales lead me to look at a National Brand to sell through. I approached the Jim’s Group where I saw a large market in domestic fencing for materials and installation. This opportunity lead myself and my wife Vanessa to purchase the regional rights for Jim’s Fencing in NSW/ACT and Gold Coast. We have owned and operated this business for the past 11 years where we grew the numbers of Franchisees to 58. We sold the regions back to Jim’s Group in 2021 but stayed operating our successful fencing installation business with our son Jayden. We bring a wealth of knowledge into our new venture with V.I.P and l look forward in developing the brand and business model throughout NSW and the ACT.”
